NARENDRA KEVAL: PSYCHOANALYST, PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPIST & CONSULTANT CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

I started my career as a Clinical Psychologist before pursuing training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy for 6 years at the Tavistock Clinic, London where I specialised in working with adults and adolescents. Following an extensive period of working as a senior clinician in the NHS, I completed further intensive training to practice as a Psychoanalyst.

I provide clinical supervision and teaching in the UK, Portugal, USA and South Africa. Recent projects include clinical workshops on working with suicidal patients. For the past 30 years, I have been involved in various projects that promote social and racial justice. Some of this work was published in my book titled 'Racist States Of Mind: Understanding the Perversion of Curiosity & Concern' in 2016 by Karnac Books. More recent publications look at some of the racial dimensions of divisive politics.
